Good morning all my friends and followers! I greet thee from a very wet, and quite windy, South this day due Miss Irma rolling through. I’m pretty sure the lawn won’t need a watering today, or tomorrow, or maybe for the rest of the week. And they say there’s no evidence of climate change, just look out my window at the squirrels canoeing down the street or the dog across the street doing his rendition of ‘Singing in the Rain’ (I like it, a very unique form, but Gene Kelly still does it best) and tell me there’s nothing to worry about.
But hey, that’s not why I’m writing this early. If you follow me on Facebook then you already know, but to make it completely official with the world, my new book The Four Winds from the Silver Mountain was released over the weekend. See, that’s why I’ve been away from the blog here for the past two weeks. I’ve been getting the book ready, the manuscript proofed, and the cover took me a few days to get approved by CreateSpace. I had to make some last-minute changes to cover art as well, which is why the cover looks different from the one in Smashwords, and that took some time. Then of course it has to be approved and blah, blah, blah…in other words, the book got here when it could. So, if you want to take a look, maybe buy a copy, and tell all your friends how good it is and force them to buy a copy, then here is where you need to go.
For the epub file on Smashwords, you can get it right here
For all those Kindle fanatics, you can get your version right here
And for my die-hard-have-to-have-a-hardback-edition friends, you can get your book right here
Now, with the announcement trumpeted to the world, or at least everyone here, I can go back to watching all my lawn ornaments float away. I used to have a garden gnome…pretty sure he was swept away last night sometime. Where ever you are Henry, where ever you end up, remember that you’ll have a home to come back to, right in front of the hedges. I miss you little guy.
So, I hope everyone has an okay Monday, can’t wish more than that because its Monday people, all we can do is hope for the best. Keep your head down, keep dry if Irma is rolling through, and remember to keep on spreading the good word that is R Kane
See everyone real soon…
A budding independent writer who simply likes to put to paper the many words floating around in my mind. I hope all enjoy…
